AD Argus is a cybersecurity software company focused on the foundation of enterprise security: identity and access in Active Directory.
Active Directory sits at the center of most enterprise networks. It decides who someone is and what they can do. When it drifts out of sync, or goes unwatched, the whole organization is exposed. AD Argus exists to build the tools that keep that foundation consistent and under control — starting with ADPassSync, our real-time password synchronization software.
The name
Argus Panoptes, the ever-watchful
In Greek myth, Argus Panoptes was a giant whose body was set with a hundred eyes. Even as he slept, only a few ever closed at once — the rest stayed open and watching. Hera made him her sentinel precisely because his vigilance never lapsed: there was no hour, no blind spot, and no distraction that could leave his charge unguarded.
That is the standard we hold our software to. Credentials and identity are exactly what an attacker wants most, so they have to be watched without pause — not only during business hours, not only when someone remembers to look, but continuously. We named the company AD Argus because perpetual vigilance isn't a feature we add on; it is the whole idea.
